December 1, 2012 will mark the three year anniversary of Dr. Horn’s business at the corner of Ferman and Main streets in Milan.
Originally from Ida, Natalie Ann started out in hygeine before going to dental school. after school she returned to Ida and within 6 months opened her own business where she developed her practice over the next 5 years. She wanted to stay in Ida, but couldn’t find an adequate space for her business, so she moved to Dundee where she built her new building. Due to unforeseen challenges (with a malfunctioning building) she made a difficult decision to move into her new office in Milan, which has given her a place to finally call home. She has a loyal following of patients, local as well as from Ohio and Indiana, who seek her philosophy of whole body dentistry.
The “Whole Body” approach to dentistry developed from a need to get well. She was very sick, and had been diagnosed with spleen cancer, a pituitary tumer, hypothyroidism, vertigo, fibromyalgia, severe allergies, due to her immune system crashing, asthma and gastric reflux. She was taking lots of medications, but nothing was working, so she set out on a quest to find a better way to get well.
She went outside the conventional medical world and sought out natural healing methods. In order to offer these methods to her patients, she returned to college to attain her Master’s and Doctorate Degree’s, as a Naturopath and Nutritionist. Some of the additional care that is offered in her “Whole Body” method includes NET ( nuero-emotional technique), blood cell analysis, natural nutritional counseling and foot baths.
Besides running her business, she also has an active speaking carrer. She loves to talk to people about her profession and how to stay healthy. She has been speaking down in South Carolina, as well as local venues, and is always open to any guest speaking engagements, and willing to donate her time for such talks. Natalie Ann looks forward to sharing her vast knowledge with you, so that you and yours may have a healthier future!
